We shared a very vague preview of the Air Pegasus 89 “Berlin” last week on NikeBlog and what little was visible appeared to be pretty nice. There are now detailed pictures and it can officially be confirmed the shoe is beautiful. The Pegasus 89 Berlin features leather, suede and mesh over the upper and the color scheme is just as wide-ranging, incorporating black, grey, purple and white. Unique to this shoe, the heel reads “Berlin 89″— representative of both the titular shoe as well as the year the Berlin Wall came down—a phrase repeated on the insole and on alternating lacelocks, with “Berlin” on one and “1989″ on the other. The Nike Air Pegasus 89 “Berlin” release date is set for December 4th in very limited numbers. It is not expected to hit stateside at the moment. Via HighSnobiety.com.
