Nike Sportswear Rivalry Collection–Parra

Yesterday I showed you the Nike Sportswear Rivalry Collection designed by Cassette Playa although admittedly I didn’t quite have all the details. Nike has asked two designers, Cassette Playa and Parra, to create two fictional sports teams, in this case the Cassette Playa’s “Chimeras” and Parra’s “Lovely Loners,” and design a line of clothes around them. (I touched on this a little a couple of months ago when Grotesk created the “Pipe Dream Team.”) Parra’s “Lovely Loners” pay tribute to those who never win, but keep play with a positive attitude for simple love of the game. Included is a magenta bomber jacket, its black counterpart, a few t-shirts and the Parra Air Maxim 1. The whole collection is included after the jump.
