Yet another Holiday Jordan preview, although this time it has nothing to do with Air Jordan 1′s. The Jordan Ol’School III is expected to be a big part of the line this year, it of course being the third incarnation of Jordan Brand’s contemporary court shoe that, per the usual, takes some design cues from past Air Jordans (notably the midsole). The silhouette has a CP3.II-like appearance to it, albeit a bit higher cut, and the shoe will come in a wide variety of colors, presumably attempting to be Jordan Brand’s ubiquitous court shoe. One really cool design concept worth mentioning: every colorway of the Ol’School III features some sort of pattern on the midsole, be it speckles, argyle, gradient or some combination of those. Also, Jordan Brand has invented a new color. It’s not university blue; It’s not varsity blue; It’s “UnVarsity Blue.” Look for the Jordan Ol’School III on shelves in the next couple of weeks.
