@Rob: My understanding is that UO’s deal with Disney allows them to use Donald, but they a) would have to give Disney a cut on any merchandise sold and b) cannot market said merchandise outside of Oregon. I believe they’re free to wear it on the field, but of course Nike would prefer they wear the Nike-ized “O.” Although I could certainly be mistaken.

Sir Lucas Leftfoot: Do not hold out for the Donald-in-the-O logo, as Nike would have to pay out Disney for the right to do that… and, as I recall, the whole Donald issue is the whole reason Oregon redesigned the “O” in the first place, so they would hvae proprietary rights.

Nice, the Ducks have just about the best uniforms in college football, I think. Those colors just work well together. Too bad their uniforms didn’t really help against Boise State.
