Apparently several years back Nike and Jordan Brand were flirting with the idea of making one-piece versions of some classic Air Jordans, meaning no seems or stitching or anything else on the exterior of the upper. The concept never really took off from a retail standpoint, but two colorways of a one-piece Air Jordan X were created and they’ve now leaked to the general public. The orange version looks … like it’s made of clay. And kind of like the Adidas Kobe 2, maybe that’s why the release never materialized? Well anyway, the navy one is actually not terrible, the design concept I think lends itself more to felt than leather, so it works much better than the orange. Pictures after the jump.
