Oregon Ducks on the Cover of the Sports Illustrated College Preview Issue
OK, so granted it’s the regional cover, but Nike U. aka the Oregon Ducks will grace the cover of the west Sports Illustrated college football preview issue. The Ducks pictured, QB Jeremiah Masoli and C Jordan Holmes, sport the new Oregon Ducks football uniforms in the all black combination. Interesting fact: technically Masoli is sporting a Brian Butterfield jersey—it has Butterfield’s name on the back—which happens to also be number eight. These are hitting western US newstands soon. Love us or hate us, you’ve got to appreciate someone besides USC making the cut.
SOMEWHAT RELATED UPDATE: Oregon will be wearing THROWBACK UNIFORMS on Saturday. Probably.
