Nike Sportswear Varsity Jacket Black/White-Orange

Since its inception in 2008, Nike Sportswear has really put together some phenomenal footwear, both retros and re-imagined colors and styles. However what’s been almost equally impressive, but has managed to fly mainly under the radar, is the NSW apparel arm, consistently dropping really nice looks in both casual styles and outerwear. Fall 2009 is no different, in fact it may be their best season of offerings yet as the focus seems to be jackets, but with a few other odds and ends.

First up are varsity jackets. It’s the standard letterman jacket fare, a wool body along with leather sleeves. The first run looks like it will consist of four colorways (described as body color/sleeves-accent stripes): grey/navy-purple, dark grey/black-grey, grey/black-white, and black/white-orange. While these are not a bad a look at all, rest assured: we’re doing this in ascending order. Part 2 forthcoming.
