Nike Air Max LeBron VII White/Black-Gold
As we all know, pictures of the Zoom LeBron VII (although due to the Air Max unit rather than Zoom Air we’re assuming it’s the Air Max LeBron VII) have popped up over the last couple of months to pretty mediocre fanfare. Well perhaps these new pictures will change that. We now have glimpses of a couple of colorways and thankfully they’re not triple blacks, meaning we can get a good look at the details of the shoe.
As has tended to be the case with the LeBrons, we can see a pretty clear evolution from the past models. The Air Max LeBron VII again incorporates that same patent leather on the toe and sides, although this time they mercifully get rid of the strap. Again we see a lot of flywire through the side panels as well as a full length air unit, this time Air Max rather than Zoom. The colorways all look pretty fly so far (except that triple black, but that doesn’t look good on any shoe); the white/black-gold is pretty similar to one of the flagship Zoom LeBron VI from a year ago and it again looks pretty dope. The black/black-green is a pretty nice look as far as all-black shoes go; the green outsole and air unit creates a nice contrast. And finally the white/red is really nice in that it incorporates all the aspects of the LeBron VII plus it puts a layer of that woven material we’ve been seeing on everything from Dunks to AF1′s lately.
The word is that we’re still looking at an October 2009 release date. Important to keep in mind, however, is that this is still a preview model and small or significant design aspects can still change. Pictures from SneakerNews.com.
