Kobe Championship Shirts

In a not-too-shocking turn of events, Nike is dropping a few NBA Finals Champions shirts in honor of Kobe leading the Lakers to their 15th NBA championship. Even less surprising: One of the shirts will have a MVPuppets Kobe theme. That shirt, coming in black in the US and yellow in China, sports a four-fingered puppet hand on the chest, with a Nike wristband and a Lakers championship ring on each of the fingers.

Next up is the Nike Carpe Diem Champagne Cork t-shirt, sporting a popped champagne cork on the chest that reads “Carpe Diem”—the motto from one of Kobe’s Zoom Kobe IV’s—in Lakers colors.

Last but not least is a black-and-gold-foil “MVP” shirt sort of reminiscent of the LeBron MVP, although this one of course would be in honor of the Finals MVP award, rather than the regular season. The Kobe Finals MVP shirt is black and says “MVP” in mamba-snakeskin-print gold foil, with that Kobe logo in the middle of the V. Dope.

The Nike Kobe Championship shirts are shipping immediately and are available starting—and possibly only—this week. Get them while they’re hot, they won’t last long.
