Cassette Playa Nike Dunk High Premium ND

Carri Mundane/Munden, the London-based designer better known as Cassette Playa, is back at it with Nike. While she created a Blazer for Nike in December, it was a very simple two-toned foray into the Nike world, hardly reminscient of Cassette Playa’s usual fare. Well she’s back with Nike, and this time they’ve collaborated on a Cassette Playa x Nike Dunk High Premium ND that is much more befitting of Cassette Playa’s unique style. The shoe has a very interesting look, sporting an interesting print over the entire upper made up primarily of “Orion Blue eyes,” sport red around the eyes, and black panels contrasting the whole color pattern. To finish off the whole combination, the Cassette Playa Nike Dunk High sports a clear plastic Swoosh that reps the brand without obscuring the pattern.

And now for the bad news. The Cassette Playa Nike Dunk High Premium ND will be a very limited release, dropping exclusively at House of Hoops locations in October. I suppose with all the dope Euro-exclusives, this is comparatively good news, but if you live in, say, neglected Oregon, you’re out of luck. The Cassette Playa Dunk High Premium ND releases in October. It’s a premium ND so it will run at least $108, probably more. I’ll update info as it becomes available.
