It’s that time of the month again, time to praise or denigrate the selections in the Nike SB June releases. (I think I missed May.) Per the usual, despite not being a skater, I’m a huge fan of a most of the kicks in the monthly release set, with the exception of the Nike SB Dunk mid purple/white-black. (I just don’t like the strap they throw on the Dunk mid. Never have.) Other than that, this is one of the best Nike SB months in a while as I would happily rock any of the other five. First off we of course have the obligatory Nike SB Blazer high (red/black), the upper is a solid suede red with accompanying black Swoosh and keeps it really simple.
Next come a couple of really special colorways: first the Nike SB Zoom P-Rod II white/cement that seems to take its inspiration from the upcoming Air Jordan III True Blue, and then a really out-there Nike SB Zoom Classic white/turquoise-pink; Nutty, but in a good way.
To finish off the set we’ve got the always dope Nike SB Zoom Tre AD in a black/gold colorway and a familiar-looking but still sick Nike SB Dunk Low white/neutral grey-gum.
I’m really digging basically everything going on in this set; even the Dunk Mid is a nice colorway, just not feeling the strap. These are already becoming available this week. If you don’t see them at your local Nike SB account, surf on over to CCS.com to pick up a pair (or all the pairs). Pictures from FreshnessMag.com.
