Nike Star Classic Vintage Green/Yellow

Nike is really starting to get after it with the vintage packs; fine by me though, as—with the exception of the Cortez—they’re all pretty much fire. I’ve recently written up the Nike Waffle Racer Vintage (hot) and the Nike Killshot Vintage (super hot) and now it looks like the Nike Star Classic Vintage Pack will be getting a release next month. I don’t know about these originals, but Nike definitely made a table tennis shoe out these lil fellas a year ago in a peculiar move (peculiar because I didn’t realize there was that big of a market for ping pong footwear). Anyway, these Nike Star Classic Vintage are staying pretty true to original form, but with an added “aged midsol”: basically just an off-white, quasi-dirty sole unit.

The Nike Star Classic will retro in two different colorways, an Oregon Ducks-like green/yellow and a white/red. Both are pretty dope, although it’s always a risk rocking an all-red shoe. The Nike Star Classic releases in June.
