Lacoste Crocodile Mythology Collection

If you’re like me, you feel that Lacoste’s footwear tends to outshine their apparel. If that’s the case, then you should be elated by this post. As some sort of celebratory release (I checked their website and the crocodile icon was created in 1925. 84 year anniversary?), Lacoste will be dropping the Crocodile Mythology Collection over the next three months, April, May and June.

The collection will total to 9 pairs of shoes, each inspired by the “crocodile mythology” of a different part of the world. First up we have April’s shoes, the Lacoste Tennis, Tennis 91, and Tiller, inspired by—respectively—Polynesia, West Africa, and Egypt. Each shoe will come in a special box which includes a detailed pamphlet about the crocodile mythology relating to that shoe/country combination. Additionally, there will be a commercial for each country. This post is going to be a bit long once the gallery is posted, so I’ll round up the commercials in another post and link it.Pictures courtesy of HighSnobiety.com>br>
