Nike ACG Ashiko Boot
There is a commonly held belief that ninjas are rad, so why wouldn’t you name a shoe after one of their accessories? The Nike ACG Ashiko Boot is the latest in 2009’s ACG line which celebrates 20 years of the sub-brand. The name is utterly sensible, as an ashiko is the set of spikes ninjas wear on their feet to facilitate climbing, and this being a hiking/climbing boot … well, I don’t need to spell it out for you. The shoe also uses the latest flywire tech to ensure a lightweight feel to go along with that extra traction. Picture from sneakerfreaker.com
