Jordan Brand is at it again. After the AJF 6 I thought the folks in Beaverton were finally figuring it out, but I’ve been proven wrong. They have created yet another Air Jordan/Air Force 1 Fusion that improves on neither original shoe.
The AJF 9 looks just like an Air Jordan 9 but with a red midsole. Yes, if you look closer you can see that the midsole is that of an Air Force 1, but, as it keeps the upward-extending “teeth” of the Air Jordan 9, you have to really pay attention to notice the difference. And it is yet another white shoe with a red midsole, which always looks bad. No word yet on colors or release date so stay tuned. Or just go buy an Air Jordan 9 and save yourself the likely thirty extra dollars they’ll charge for this. On a humorous side note, the tag on the inside of the tongue reads “The Best of Both Worlds.” Pictures from SneakerNews.com by way of HoopChina.com
