Nike Drifter 6.0

January 30, 2009

I am no skater, and I’ve never been a fan of Vans, laceless or otherwise, but I am definitely on board with these Vans-like Nike Drifter 6.0. It’s basically a really simple skate shoe with a plain midsole (think Vans or All-Stars), a suede upper, and some very light stitching in the standard Nike-panel shape. [...]

Air Jordan 2009 S23

January 30, 2009

As mentioned in a previous entry, the first Air Jordan 2009 will drop tomorrow, January 31st. The limited edition shoe is the Air Jordan 2009 S23, a black model with a few gold accents throughout. I won’t get too into detail about the shoe itself (click the “previous entry” link to read about the specs), [...]

Nike Air Griffey Max 1

January 30, 2009

Hearken back with me to 1996: the Yankees won the World Series, we were in the midst of the steroid era but didn’t know it yet, and Ken Griffey Jr was the best baseball player most people had ever seen. Adding to his mystique were the SICK shoes Nike made for him. You can come [...]

Nike Air Wild Pegasus

January 28, 2009

I hadn’t really given it too much thought, but being that this is the 20th anniversary of Nike ACG I guess we should probably expect some funky ACG releases throughout the year to ring in the celebration. That being said, I now present the Nike Air Wild Pegasus Black/Medium Blue-Flint Grey. This is a sportier, [...]

Nike Air Jordan 1 Phat Suns Pack

January 28, 2009

You’ve got to love the Air Jordan 1 Phat. Take the Air Jordan 1 Low, give it a little more padding through the ankle, and hit it with some dope colors. While I made mention of the Air Jordan 1 Phat Laker Pack a couple of days ago, there’s a new pack to talk about [...]

Nike ACG Terminator Hybrid

January 28, 2009

Nike is at it again with the hybrid shoes. I’m running out of different ways to say this: Nike took concept A, combined it with concept B, and got hybrid shoe C. In this case concept A is the Nike Terminator, concept B is ACG Clima-Fit and neoprene among other things, and hybrid shoe C [...]

Nike SB Summer 2009 Releases

January 27, 2009

I’m definitely not a skater, but Nike SB is making a fan out of me. After pretty strong releases in January and some slated for February, we get a look at a few kicks scheduled to release in Q2 of 2009. The highlights here are the Blazer and the SB Dunk High, although the red [...]

Air Jordan Force 4 Fusion: AJF 4 Black/Red/Cement Grey

January 27, 2009

Nike really needs to make up their collective mind on whether they’re going to churn out nice-looking AJF fusions or the monstrosities that are the AJF 9, 12 and 3. Here we have a pretty slick AJF 4 in black, red and cement. The upper looks really clean, staying pretty true to the original, with [...]

Nike Air Max 90 Premium Black/Neon Green/Pink

January 27, 2009

I just spotted this one over at CaliRoots.com; it’s a nice-looking entry into the Air Max 90 line (although you probably have to like that late 80′s neon style.) The Nike Air Max 90 Premium Black/Neon Green/pink is a black based shoe with the aforementioned neon accents, a black midsole, and a green outsole. Adding [...]
