Well, we’ve had to wait since 1985 but we finally have it: the Nike NES Air Max. This latest marriage of gaming and footwear is one of the best I’ve seen. The NES color scheme is there, as well as a subtle control-pad pattern across the front. To top it all off, it says “start” in that font up toward the ankle. All in all, when you consider the directions they could have gone, and some of the garish team-ups we’ve seen in the past, this is a really tasteful design, and still incorporates all the aspects of an Air Max that we expect. Word is that they’re just available at some select Nike accounts, so good luck to you in finding them. Photos from CNET.com
