So you were digging the Summit Lake Hornets-themed LeBron 9 that hit awhile ago, but wished the quantities of turquoise and purple were inverted? Are we looking at the new Arkansas uniform for the upcoming football season? (Current ones can be viewed here.) Well, due to the lack of additional images, and the less-than-gargantuan nature of this photo, it’s pretty difficult to say. If so, it would seem the Hogs are getting a big upgrade, adding an all black (or anthracite, maybe) alternate, an additional helmet (white), perhaps a new finish on the cardinal helmet, and a gradient-style fade in the numbers (like Arizona State wears). More Foam news today, following up our teaser of the Gold Medal Foamposite One yesterday. The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Metallic Silver/Crimson-Black release date is scheduled for September 1st, and today we’ve got detailed looks at the shoe. Silver Foamposite piecing on the upper sits against black on the lace placket, tongue and collar, with contrasting crimson on the heel-tab and outsole, resulting in a clean, altogether unique look relative to most other Foamposites. It takes some creativity to keep a 25-year-old silhouette looking fresh. You’d think every design possibility would be exhausted, right? Apparently not, as Nike keeps churning out dope new takes on the timeless Dunk. This time it comes in the form of the Nike Dunk High AC Plaid, which takes a grey canvas upper with tonal detailing, adds in a classic AC-style white sole, and finishes the look off with a soft purple-based plaid liner and waxed boot-style laces.
