Updating a previous story, the Nike Air Max NM Black/University Gold-White release date is scheduled for next Saturday, February 4th, and if you were wondering why you ought to buy it, these photos may just help you along. The shoe sports a clean black nubuck overlay, a great contrast against the white mesh base, while the the gold jelly Swoosh adds a nice effect. Finishing off the shoe, the Air Griffey Max 1-style midsole is colored in simple black, with gold through the air bags. As happens sometimes, Nike will apply an underlying theme to several different models during the 2012 NBA All-Star Game (something we’ve seen in the past with a ‘woodgrain’ theme). And this year, that theme is the galaxy. Or Big Bang. Or whatever you want to call it, but the point is that a lot of shoes, the LeBron 9 All-Star for example, will feature a space-themed look with myriad colors and stars and whatnot. And today we get another look at the Nike Zoom Kobe VII All-Star, which sports just such a look.
